Known as The Pirate Society, TPS is a forum that was conceived on July 7th, 2008, by the Site Owner N3v3R, that is devoted to filesharing topics with sections devoted to invite offers and requests. The site works to cooperate with trackers in ensuring bittorrent safety, all the while providing users a safe environment in which they can discuss their hobby and join tracker sites freely without worry.
Over time TPS has transformed into much more than just a bittorrent discussion forum, as the community has expanded by leaps and bounds. Topics of almost anything could be found and discussed within the forum. New site features continue to come. Within the past year TPS has started a seedbox service called SavvySeed, for solely TPS members. Entertainment in the form of TPS Radio has also opened up. And last but certainly not least is the Store in which members could buy TPS souvenirs, clothes and accessories. In the past year until now (July, 7th, 2009) TPS has over 6000+ members, 150+ tracker representatives, and 230,000+ posts.
The TPS Blog is a blog project, whose articles and discussions are made directly from TPS members. The entire community provide us with interesting articles that stimulate discussion and comments. Topics of discussions include filesharing, music, politics, sports, and much more. The project’s continual goal is to provide an outlet for users who want to express their thoughts to an environment, all the while providing nonmembers a glimpse of what TPS is all about.
